Alice Springs is one 5 Australian cities participating in Australian Government's Solar City program.
The Alice Solar City Project is a 6 year initiative which aims to demonstrate how solar power, energy efficiency technology, smart metering and new approaches to electricity pricing can combine to achieve a more sustainable use of energy. Based on a one-stop shop approach, the project targets the household and commercial sectors in Alice Springs through a range of innovative community engagement strategies.
This presentation will outline the key components of the Alice Solar City Project and key learnings and observations.
