Increasingly, global trends indicate that by working with successful social entrepreneurs organisations can find ways to improve their viability and profitability while empowering communities and reducing environmental degradation. This presentation will identify gaps and opportunity using creative thinking, innovation and socially entrepreneurial approaches to connect best practice emerging trends with local developments. This exchange of relevant ideas will also provide an overview of where Australian Indigenous social entrepreneurs are strengthening communities, preserving culture and achieving reconciliation. Outcomes of this presentation will focus on lessons to be learned from local and overseas approaches including business clustering in rural and remote communities.
