Outback Communication
The research was conducted in cooperation with Outback NSW to address the current levels and forms of communication with and between tourism operators throughout the outback region.
Initial research discovered a lack in interest and participation of tourism operators with Outback NSW' membership benefits were overlooked and conflicting perspectives on the value of collaborative communication.
The suggested recommendations incorporate the findings of the structured interviews conducted with the board and members of Outback NSW. The strategies devised focus on increasing collaborative communication which enhance learning opportunities and improve individual tourism business practices.
