International Networking: Local Knowledge Global Benefit
Australia comprises an area of approximately 7.65m km2 with a population of 21 million people. This equates to around 2.5 people / km2, and compares similarly with Canada (3 people / km2) These two nations share other similarities including sparsely populated, isolated regions and their associated challenges. This presentation will focus on the mutual benefits of recently developed networks and linkages between DKCRC and Canadian researchers, policy makers and community practitioners in sharing information about responses to these challenges.
