Telling true stories in VET research contexts
Researchers from the Social Partnerships in Learning Research Consortium (SPiL) based at Charles Darwin University have been using a range of tools to support the undertaking of research in Aboriginal contexts. We will examine the use of emerging technologies for data collection and analysis across a range of contexts and situations.
Audio, image and video capture and web-based collaborative tools have been successfully used to record knowledge and support the involvement of Aboriginal people in research. These tools can better incorporate and represent the voices of learners and make more robust the collection of research data.
