Objective: To present vital health information, in an innovative approach, that overcomes language and literacy barriers.
Method: To use visual presentations of health material, that can convey meaningful health information, equally if not more effectively than written text. This visual presentation can then spoken in any language.
Results: The results of the "Sex Yum Ouch! (Sexually Transmitted Infections) Thailand translation project, supported by the Australian - Thailand Institute, will be presented.
Conclusions: This visual approach to learning contains a number of advantages which will be outlined and explained during the talk, along with examples of work and conclusions.
