This event took place in October 2008. The hosts of the event identify as Eastern or Nth Eastern Arrernte, whose lands are outlying from Alice Springs. Their's was a collaborative response to the solid teaching and cross-cultural exchange practiced by the group's directing elders for many years.

We will present a reflective overview of how the event achieved its outcomes,and what those outcomes were. We will provide important information for planning, education and economic development for the Arrernte people who participated, as well as presenting feedback about what it was essentially, which was valuable about the experience, for delegate participants.
